The annual regatta last weekend (Sept19-20) saw 120 boats converge on the club, with large Topper, Optimist and Laser classes making up the bulk.
The work to make the club carpark useable was only finished on Friday, and a quick count on Saturday afternoon showed 97 cars in some sort of ordered parking.
Both days started off not looking very promising with glassy calm conditions greeting competitors each morning, but a reasonable breeze arrived on both days allowing all 6 races to be sailed.
Around 20 boats in the regatta, development fleet benefitted from lots of on the water coaching, and Paul Mills warm up routine on Sunday really was a sight to behold.
At the end of the weekend we found several left items, boat covers and even a complete Oppi rig, if any of these things are yours please get in touch.
