- so that they can be included in the Agenda. An agenda for the meeting is being drawn up and will be forwarded nearer the time. The Agenda should be in the hands of the members seven days prior to the meeting thus those wishing to include items on the Agenda should bear this in mind. The present notice observes the required minimum of thirty days prior to the meeting for the announcement of a request for nominations. The Committee seeks nominations for the General Committee, Flag Officers and Office Bearers from the club members. In particular, nominations for Rear and Vice Commodore are sought, along with nominations for the General Committee. Please forward nominations to the Hon. Secretary (e-mail as above or by post to Alan Foster, 12, George St., Falkirk FK2 7EY). Members should note: In accordance with Item 21 of the Constitution (attached), only sailing members (i.e. those holding Family or Individual Membership) are eligible to stand for the Committee or as Flag Officers. Secondly, by the same item, all nominations must be accompanied by a statement from the nominee indicating their willingness to be so nominated. A letter or e-mail (to the address above) from the nominee will suffice. Following the AGM there will be a buffet supper and Prize giving for the club trophies and other achievements, including the presentation of certificates for the Team Tummel sailors.
