Racing

The club runs a regular racing programme on Sundays from April to October including points series, long distance races round the island and pursuit races. We also run our Buddy series providing informal races and member to member coaching for those new to racing.

Family & Social Sailing

For generations Tummel has been a great place for children to learn to sail, make friends and have fun in the outdoors. We’ve a safe environment on and off the water with play areas and kayaks and paddleboards free to use for members.

Throughout the year we run a number of family weekends with social sailing and informal parent supported training, along with an annual kids’ camp.

Events

Every July we host Tummel Week, our family friendly sailing week which our regulars have been returning to for years with a full racing and social programme and a focus on fun. It’s always one of the highlights of the year!

We’ve plenty experience hosting large events including the RYA Youth & Junior Championships for the last 3 years. Each September we host an annual Autumn Regatta September offering class and handicap racing. Community

Beyond sailing we are always happy to work with local charities or community organisations interested in making use of the facilities at the club. If you have an event in mind which we can support please get in touch.

Look out for our community open days. A great opportunity to try sailing for free. And for a number of years now we have hosted the Scottish Coastal Rowing Association for their freshwater sprints. This event is always a great spectacle with a buzz on the shore.
